Movies

Lights, camera, action! The Movies Committee is the branch of SUAB that hosts inexpensive movies that are not yet released on DVD. The movies show on selected Fridays and Saturdays in the Student Union Theater for only $2 per person!

Besides showing movies in the Student Union Theater, we also organize the Dive-In Movie at the Colvin Center Outdoor Pool as well as the Outdoor Movies shown on Library Lawn. These unique experiences are fun and free for everyone! Our big event in the spring, The REEL Film Festival, brings in dozens of amateur filmmakers and their short films for a state-wide independent film festival. Prizes are awarded at the show, and everyone is invited to enter and attend!

The Movies Committee is adding several new events this semester, which makes it an exciting time for all of OSU. We will have an African American Film Festival in honor of Black History Month, an Oscar Watch Party on the night of the Oscars, and a classic Drive-In Movie at the Student Union Garage. We hope to see you at our events this semester.

All movies are at the Student Union Theater unless otherwise noted.  (Show schedules will be updated when movies are selected.)
